Claims Administrator
Job Summary
Zurich Life Assurance plc is looking for a Claims Administrator to work in our Risk Claims Department. This is a wonderful opportunity to join the Claims Team and develop a newly created role managing all aspects of Death Claims on Zurich’s Pension and Investment Product Portfolio.
This role is a controlled function under the CBI Fitness and Probity Standard.
Your Role
Reporting to the Claims Lead, your main responsibilities as a Claims Administrator will include, but not necessarily be limited to, the following:
• Handling all aspects of Death Claims on Pension and Investment Policies.
• Dealing with Customer, Employer, Solicitor and Broker telephone and email queries in a professional and timely manner.
• Dealing with FSPO and Customer Complaints.
• Following established best practices and procedures for standard tasks.
• Complete assigned work within established standards for timeliness and accuracy.
• Provide prompt, accurate and high quality work in response to management direction and internal customer needs.
• Assist processing and payment of claims.
• Follow procedures to ensure adherence to the company´s risk and compliance policies.
• Work closely with internal clients in order to exchange information, clarify facts, and resolve queries and/or problems
• Provide support to the Head of Claims
Your Skills and Experience
As a Claims Administrator your skills and qualifications must include:
• Excellent Attention to Detail & Clear Customer Focus
• Effective Communications
• Customer/Broker Interaction
• Good working knowledge of Life 400/Salesforce/WORD/EXCEL
• Ability to work well in a pressurised environment and to tight deadlines
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Meet and maintain the CBI requirements under Minimum Competency Code
